Gazette.govt.nzPursuant to sections 108 and 109 of the Social Workers Registration Act 2003, the Social Workers Registration Board sets out the Fees and the Disciplinary Levy prescribed by the Social Workers Registration Board.
Notice
1. Title
This notice may be cited as the Social Workers Registration Board (Fees and Disciplinary Levy) Notice May 2024.
2. Commencement
The fees and levy payable under this notice revoke and replace the specified fees and levy payable under:
- the Social Workers Registration Board (Fees and Disciplinary Levy) Notice May 2022 (New Zealand Gazette, 1 April 2022, Notice No. 2022-gs1233) for Practicing Certificate Fee (12 months) and Disciplinary Levy
- the Social Workers Registration Board (Fees) Notice July 2022 (New Zealand Gazette, 2 June 2022, Notice No. 2022-gs2159) for the Registration application fee under section 6 and 7, Overseas Qualification Equivalence assessment fee, Competence assessment for applicants with overseas qualifications, Provisional to Full Registration fee, Practising Certificate fees for part of year (pro rata), Certificate of Good Standing, and Return to practice application fee.
All other fees remain the same.
The new Fees and Disciplinary Levy apply to the practising year beginning 1 July 2024. The Practising Certificate fee and Disciplinary Levy for the 2024–25 practising year will be charged at the new rate upon renewal.
3. Fees
The Social Workers Registration Board prescribes the fees payable to the Board specified in the Schedule to this notice.
4. Tax
The fees are in New Zealand dollars and are inclusive of goods and services tax (GST).
