Land Transfer Act 2017 Notice

Notice is given under section 161(1) of the Land Transfer Act 2017 of the following application for a record of title based on adverse possession made under section 155 of the Act.

Application 12702822.1 by Raymond Young and Rosalie Fay Young, c/- Solomons Solicitors, Level 3, Solomons House, 1 Bond Street, Dunedin 9016/PO Box 5247, Dunedin 9054 for land at Kilgour Street, Waihola (adjoining 38 Lake View Street) being 0.1308 hectares more or less and being Part Allotment 25 and Allotment 26 Block II Deeds Plan 161 in Record of Title OT239/224 now shown as Lot 1 on LT 578775 in the Otago Land Registration District owned by Alexander Wallace MacArthur. The applicants claim to have been in continuous and undisputed possession of the land for over 40 years.

A person claiming an estate or interest in the land described may lodge a caveat under section 162 of the Act to prevent the application from being granted before 6 June 2024. If no caveats are lodged, the record of title will be issued and existing estates and interests extinguished.
