Pursuant to schedule 7 clause 3 of the Public Service Act 2020, the Public Service Commissioner has appointed:

Benjamin King

to the position of Secretary of the Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet and Chief Executive, Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet from 8 April 2024 to 7 April 2029, following acceptance by the Governor-General of New Zealand in Council of the Public Service Commissioner’s recommendation.
