Notice Under the Climate Change (Forestry) Regulations 2022 (Notice No. MPI 1775)

Pursuant to regulation 16(1) of the Climate Change (Forestry) Regulations 2022, notice is given of the issue on 6 December 2023 of the Waivers and refunds for de-registration and removal of forest land from the New Zealand Emissions Trading Scheme (“Waiver Notice”).

The Waiver Notice comes into force on 6 December 2023 and is secondary legislation. The agency responsible for administration of this Instrument is the Ministry for Primary Industries.

Copies of the Waiver Notice may be inspected free of charge or purchased at a reasonable cost, at the office of Te Uru RākauNew Zealand Forest Service, Level 1, 1 The Terrace, Wellington Central PO Box 2526, Wellington.

The Waiver Notice can be viewed on the MPI website: www.mpi.govt.nz.
