Pursuant to section 20 of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister for Land Information, Cade Couch, Land Information New Zealand, declares that pursuant to an agreement to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the Schedule to this notice is acquired for flood protection and river control purposes, subject to a right to drain water in gross created by Easement Instrument 10336277.5 and subject to a right to drain water in gross created by Easement Instrument 10336277.6 and together with a right to convey electricity and a right to drain sewage created by Easement Instrument 12141611.1 and shall vest in the Manawatu-Whanganui Regional Council on the date of publication hereof in the New Zealand Gazette.
