Pursuant to subclause 4.6(1) of the Land Transport Rule: Light Vehicle Brakes 2002 and subclause 10.6(1) of Land Transport Rule: Heavy Vehicle Brakes 2006, and pursuant to the powers delegated to me by the Director of Land Transport, Waka Kotahi NZ Transport Agency, I, Don Hutchinson, Principal Engineer, Regulatory Technical Team, hereby approve the brake testing device specified in the Schedule to this notice for the purpose of measuring brake performance of light and heavy vehicles to establish compliance with the requirements contained in the Rules above.
