On 20 September 2022, The Sovereign in Right of New Zealand, acting by and through the Chief Executive of the Department of Corrections and First Security Guard Services Limited, varied a security contract under section 166(1) of the Corrections Act 2004.

First Security Guard Services Limited is the security contractor for the purposes of the Act.
