Pursuant to section 22(1) of the Broadcasting Act 1989, a new free-to-air television code of broadcasting practice has been issued.

The new code is contained in the 2020 edition of the Broadcasting Standards in New Zealand Codebook and will take effect from 1 May 2020.

Copies of the code can be downloaded from www.bsa.govt.nz and will be made available free from the Broadcasting Standards Authority, PO Box 9213, Wellington 6141.
