Pursuant to section 32 of the Civil Defence Emergency Management Act 2002, the Minister of Civil Defence gives the following notice.

Under section 32 of the Civil Defence Emergency Management Act 2002, I hereby give notice of the completion of the National Disaster Resilience Strategy.

The strategy was presented to the House of Representatives on 19 February 2019 and, subject to section 35 of the Civil Defence Emergency Management Act 2002, will take effect on 10 April 2019.
