Approval of the Vessel Works Marine Precinct as a Place of First Arrival (Notice No. MPI 979)

Pursuant to section 37 of the Biosecurity Act 1993, notice is given that Vessel Works Marine Precinct, located at 6 Den Place, Sulphur Point, Tauranga, and operated by Tauranga City Council (trading as Vessel Works) is approved as a place of first arrival as of 11 March 2019 subject to the limitations specified:

Limitations:

Vessel Works Marine Precinct is able to receive the following craft:

  • Military
  • Other Craft (Dredge, Fishing, Project)
  • Passenger
  • Recreational Craft
  • Super Yachts (over 24 metres and crewed by a professional crew)

that are able to discharge the following cargo types:

  • Non-fare paying Passengers (Civilian and Military), Crew and Baggage

A copy of the written notice of approval may be inspected or obtained at the Ministry for Primary Industries, Charles Fergusson Building, 34–38 Bowen Street, Pipitea, Wellington 6011.
