Pursuant to section 160(3) of the Crown Entities Act 2004 (“Act”), I, David Bowden, Acting Treasury Solicitor, hereby give notice that on 10 May 2018, Natasha Barnett, Group Manager, Resourcing, Ministry of Education and Diana Cook, Manager, Education and Skills, The Treasury, both acting under delegated authority from the Minister of Education and the Minister of Finance respectively, gave approvals under section 160(1)(b) of the Act, in relation to section 161 of that Act, for Northern Southland College Board of Trustees to:

• hold shares in Farmlands to an aggregate maximum value of $500; and
• acquire future bonus/rebate shares issues by Farmlands but not to acquire additional shares.
