Peter Thomson, Director Plants Food and Environment for the Ministry for Primary Industries (MPI), acting under delegated authority from the Director-General of MPI, gives notice under section 142N(4) of the Biosecurity Act 1993 (“Act”) that, under section 142M of the Act, some or all of the following material, in whole or in part, is proposed for incorporation by reference in one or more Biosecurity Documents made under the Act:

• Australian Standard AS 1324.1:2001 Air filters for use in general ventilation and airconditioning Part 1: Application, performance and construction. This document is available by request from MPI.
• Australian Standard AS 1324.2:2003 Air filters for use in general ventilation and airconditioning Part 2: Methods of test. This document is available by request from MPI.

Consultation on this proposal to incorporate material by reference is in addition to the usual process for consultation on any facility standard under section 39 of the Act.
