Pursuant to section 161(3) of the Land Transport Act 1998, notification is hereby given of the making of 10 Rules that amend Land Transport Rules.
The amendment Rules, which were consulted on in Land Transport Rule: Omnibus Amendment 2014, are:
- Land Transport Rule: Heavy Vehicles Amendment 2014 (Rule 31002/7);
- Land Transport Rule: Light-vehicle Brakes Amendment (No 2) 2014 (Rule 32014/5);
- Land Transport Rule: Operator Licensing Amendment 2014 (Rule 81001/8);
- Land Transport Rule: Passenger Service Vehicles Amendment 2014 (Rule 31001/7);
- Land Transport (Road User) Amendment Rule 2014 (Rule 61001/11);
- Land Transport Rule: Traffic Control Devices Amendment 2014 (Rule 54002/8);
- Land Transport Rule: Tyres and Wheels Amendment 2014 (Rule 32013/7);
- Land Transport Rule: Vehicle Equipment Amendment 2014 (Rule 32017/6);
- Land Transport Rule: Vehicle Lighting Amendment 2014 (Rule 32005/9);
- Land Transport Rule: Vehicle Standards Compliance Amendment 2014 (Rule 35001/13).
These amendment Rules, which make minor changes, come into force on 1 November 2014.
They are available for inspection free of charge at the National Office of the NZ Transport Agency, 50 Victoria Street, Wellington, and at the NZ Transport Agency's regional offices.
