Pursuant to section 45(3)(b) of the Maritime Security Act 2004, I, Keith Manch, Chief Executive of Maritime
New Zealand, hereby revoke the designation made on
4 August 2011* of the following area at CentrePort, Wellington, as a port security area:
- That land on Inter-Island Wharf (excluding the existing port security area contained on the eastern boundary), when within any fenced or secured area, used to berth cruise or other vessels from time to time.
For the avoidance of doubt, this Gazette Notice does not affect the status of the port security area on the eastern side of the Inter-Island Wharf designated a port security area on 20 August 2004Å.
