Pursuant to section 65ZD(3) of the Public Finance Act 1989, the Minister of Finance makes the following statement:
"On the 19th day of July 2012, I, The Honourable Simon William English, Minister of Finance, on behalf of the Crown, gave a tax indemnity to the trustees of
the Raukawa Settlement Trust as described under
Part 3 of the General Matters Schedule of the Deed
of Settlement for Raukawa signed on 2 June 2012 and which is to apply from the date of such signing (namely 2 June 2012)."
