Pursuant to section 5 of the Industry Training Act 1992, full recognition has been granted to the New Zealand Engineering Food and Manufacturing Industry Training Organisation Incorporated (trading as Competenz) for an extension of coverage for the retail meat industry, with effect from 1 January 2013 to 1 January 2018, to set standards at Levels 1-8 on the New Zealand Qualifications Framework.
