Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, the Wellington
Regional Council hereby notifies that a resolution to
the following effect was passed by the council on the
27th day of July 2011:
"That in exercise of the powers conferred on it by
Section 14 of the Reserves Act 1977, and acting under an instrument of delegation from the Minister of Conservation, Wellington Regional Council hereby resolves that the piece of land held by Council in fee simple and described in the Schedule shall be hereby declared to be a scenic reserve for the purposes specified in Section 19 of the Act and is deemed pursuant to Section 16(2) to be classified for that purpose within
the meaning of the Act, and furthermore the Council acting pursuant to statutory powers contained in Section 16(10) of the Act declares the said reserve to be part of the East Harbour Regional Park".
