Pursuant to section 338(5)(a) of Te Ture Whenua Maori
Act 1993, on the recommendation of the Maori Land Court, the Maori reservation, in respect of the land described in the Schedule hereto, is hereby excluded from the existing Maori reservation in respect of the land known as Horowhenua XIB 41A Subdivision 3, which was set aside for the purpose of a marae and meeting house for the common use and benefit of the members of the Ngati Pareraukawa hapu
of the Ngati Raukawa tribe by notice published in the
New Zealand Gazette, 1 August 1974, No. 75, page 1618, and amended by notice published in the New Zealand Gazette, 7 November 1996, No. 163, page 4303.
