Medical Radiation Technologists (Fees) Notice 2010

Pursuant to section 130(1) of the Health Practitioners Competence Assurance Act 2003, the following notice is given.
This notice replaces the Medical Radiation Technologists (Fees) Notice 2007, dated the 22nd day of December 2006 and published in the New Zealand Gazette, 11 January 2007, No. 1, page 51, and the Amendment to the Medical Radiation Technologists (Fees) Notice 2007 dated the 30th day of April 2008 and published in the New Zealand Gazette, 8 May 2008, No. 81, page 2230.
N o t i c e
1. Title and commencement-(1) This notice may be cited as the Medical Radiation Technologists (Fees) Notice 2010.
(2) This notice comes into force on 2 August 2010.
2. Fees-The Medical Radiation Technologists Board prescribes the fees, payable to the board, specified in the attached Schedule.
3. Tax-The fees are inclusive of goods and services tax.

Application to register (overseas graduate) 425.00
Application to register under the Trans-Tasman Mutual Recognition Act 1997 315.00
Application for a practising certificate 275.00
Application by a registered medical radiation technologist to add a further scope of practice 170.00
Application for a training scope of practice 170.00
Application for assessment of a continuing professional development programme 350.00
Auditing of a continuing professional development programme (three years following approval) 1,200.00
An addition or alteration to the Register maintained by the board 100.00
Issue of a replacement certificate of registration 43.00
Supply to any medical radiation technologist of any documents required by him or her for the purpose of seeking registration overseas 100.00
Application for examination set or approved by the board 2,000.00
Application to remain on the Register while not holding an annual practising certificate 35.00
Application for restoration to the Register 35.00
