Pursuant to clause 9(2) of the Sixth Schedule to the Education Act 1989, and acting with authority delegated by the Minister of Education, I hereby extend the period for closing the poll and all subsequent actions in accordance with the Education (School Trustee Elections) Regulations 2000, for the election of a staff representative for the following boards of trustees:

De La Salle College (94)
Sacred Heart School (Petone) (2984)
Waitakaruru School (2069)
Voting for the elections shall now close on 18 June 2010.
This notice takes effect the day after its notification in the New Zealand Gazette.
This notice does not affect the election of parent representatives to these boards of trustees.
