Under section 7(lA) of the Conservation Act 1987, the Auckland Conservator of the Auckland Conservancy of
the Department of Conservation declares that the land described in the Schedule is held for conservation purposes and further, under section 8(lA) of the Act, declares that the land described in the Schedule shall be set apart as a reserve, subject to the Reserves Act 1977, and classified as a scenic reserve, subject to the provisions of section 19(1)(a) of the latter Act.
