Pursuant to section 14(8) of the Dumping and Countervailing Duties Act 1988, and under delegated authority from the Chief Executive of the Ministry of Economic Development, having carried out a review of the imposition of the countervailing duties in respect of imports into New Zealand of canned peaches from the European Union, I hereby give the following notice.
N o t i c e
Title and commencement-(1) This notice may be cited as the Completion of Review in Respect of Countervailing Duty on Canned Peaches From the European Union.
(2) I have completed the review and determined that the subject goods described in the Schedule to this notice
are not currently subsidised and that there is not likely to
be a recurrence of subsidisation causing material injury
to the New Zealand industry producing like goods should countervailing duties be removed.
(3) I have therefore determined that the continued imposition of countervailing duties on the goods described in the Schedule is not necessary.
