Pursuant to section 338(2) of Te Ture Whenua Maori
Act 1993, on the recommendation of the Maori Land Court, the Maori freehold land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby set apart as a Maori reservation for the purpose of a marae and is to be included in the Maori reservation that is over the lands known as Taumataoteo 22E, Taumataoteo 24A, Taumataoteo 25, Taumataoteo 34 and Taumataoteo 35, that became a Maori reservation, pursuant to section 11(1) of the Maori Purposes Act 1936, on the making of the vesting order vesting the land in trustees on 19 August 1939.
