Pursuant to section 161(3) of the Land Transport Act 1998, notification is hereby given of the making of Land Transport Rule: Heavy Vehicles Amendment 2008 (Rule 31002/3).
This Rule, which comes into force on 28 April 2008,
was consulted on as part of Land Transport Rule: Omnibus Amendment 2007.
The objective of this amendment Rule is to make minor changes to Land Transport Rule: Heavy Vehicles 2004 relating to safety requirements and standards for vehicles with a gross vehicle mass exceeding 3500kg.
The amendment Rule is available for inspection free of charge at the National Office of Land Transport New Zealand,
7 Waterloo Quay, Wellington, and for purchase from April 2008 at selected bookshops that sell legislation.
