Pursuant to Regulation 194(2) of the Electricity Governance Regulations 2003, the Electricity Commission gives the following notice.
N o t i c e
1. Title and commencement—(1) This notice is the Electricity Governance Regulations (Exemption No. 49 (Distributors)) Exemption Notice 2008.
(2) This notice comes into force on 20 March 2008.
2. Exemption—All distributors, as defined in Part A of the Electricity Governance Rules 2003 (“Rules”), are exempted from compliance with Rules 5 and 6 of Part E of the Rules.
3. Term—This exemption will expire on 14 April 2008.
4. Reason for granting the exemption—The reason for granting this exemption is:
? In order to comply with the migration plan and populate the new systems in preparation for the new registry and reconciliation manager systems, distributors will not be able to comply with the requirements of these rules.
