Under section 6 of the Reserves Act 1977, the Acting Community Relations and Technical Support Manager for the Bay of Plenty Conservancy of the Department of Conservation declares that the Lake Okataina Scenic Reserve comprised and described in the New Zealand Gazette, 29 April 1982, No. 48, page 1455, (Document H408804) is amended to that shown in the Schedule hereto from 24 September 2006.
