Pursuant to section 161(3) of the Land Transport Act 1998, notification is hereby given of the making of the following amendment Rules.
These amendment Rules make consequential changes required as a result of changes to other land transport legislation, including Rules; clarify existing requirements; update standards incorporated by reference in Rules and make other minor changes to Rules:
Land Transport Rules: Glazing, Windscreen Wipe and Wash, and Mirrors Amendment 2007 (Rule 32012/3);
Heavy Vehicles Amendment 2007 (Rule 31002/2);
Light-vehicle Brakes Amendment 2007 (Rule 32014/1);
Passenger Service Vehicles Amendment 2007 (Rule 31001/2);
Setting of Speed Limits Amendment 2007 (Rule 54001/2);
Vehicle Dimensions and Mass Amendment 2007 (Rule 41001/2); and
Vehicle Lighting Amendment 2007 (Rule 32005/2).
