This notice, which comes into force 28 days after the date of notification in the New Zealand Gazette, amends the Denatured Ethanol Group Standard 2006 following
the reassessment of methylated spirits, whereby the Environmental Risk Management Authority decided that formulations of denatured ethanol sold to the general public should not be permitted to contain methanol from 21 June 2007.
