In accordance with section 34(1)(a) of the Civil Aviation Act 1990, the Minister of Transport hereby gives notice of her intention to make the following ordinary Civil Aviation Rules:
CAR Part 125—Air Operations–Medium Aeroplanes – The purpose of this rule making proposal is to update the existing Part 125 rules pertaining to single engine instrument flight rules (SEIFR) passenger operations, which require an Engine Health and Usage Monitoring System (HUMS) to be fitted to aircraft performing SEIFR passenger operations (NPRM 07-06, CAA Docket 4/CAR/7).
