Approval of Rotorua Airport as a Place of First Arrival (Notice No. 1560)

Pursuant to section 37 of the Biosecurity Act 1993, notice is given that
Rotorua Airport
was approved on 19 October 2006, as a place of first arrival
into New Zealand.
This approval:
(a) is restricted to the arrival of passenger jet aircraft confined to mid-sized jet aircraft with a capacity of up to 160 passengers, including commercial, charter, and private aircraft or aircraft on hire for private use, for the importation of:
? passengers and crew.
? baggage (including spares, stores and personal effects).
(b) does not authorise the arrival of aircraft carrying general cargo (including live animals, fresh produce, vehicles and machinery).
The written notice of approval may be inspected free of charge at the head office of the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry, Pastoral House, 25 The Terrace, Wellington.
