In accordance with section 34 (1) (a) of the Civil Aviation Act 1990, the Minister of Transport hereby gives notice
of her intention to make the following ordinary Civil Aviation Rule:
Part 91—General Operating and Flight Rules – Change to 406 MHz emergency locator transmitters (NPRM 06-03, Docket 4/CAR/8).
Consequential Amendments:
Part 1—Definitions and Abbreviations
Part 43—General Maintenance Rules
Part 121—Air Operations-Large Aeroplanes
Part 129—Foreign Air Transport Operator-Certification
Comments on the proposed Rule should be submitted to the Docket Clerk by 31 July 2006.
Details of this Notice of Proposed Rule Making (NPRM) will be published on 6 July 2006, in the monthly Civil Aviation Rules Register Information Leaflet (CARRIL).
