WHEREAS—
A. I have received a warrant from Her Excellency the Governor-General, to supply a member of Parliament
to fill a vacancy created by the death of Rodney David Donald pursuant to section 55 (1) (h) of the Electoral Act 1993;
B. Under section 137 (2) of the Electoral Act 1993, I have determined that of the unelected candidates on the
party list of the Green Party of Aotearoa New Zealand, N ndor Steven T nczos stood highest in the order of preference on that list;
C. Under section 137 (3) of that Act, I have asked the Secretary of the Green Party of Aotearoa New Zealand whether N ndor Steven T nczos remains a member of that party and I have been informed that he remains a member of that party;
D. Under section 137 (4) of that Act, I have asked N ndor Steven T nczos whether he is willing to be a member of Parliament and he has indicated his willingness to be a member of Parliament.
THEREFORE, pursuant to section 137 (4) of that Act,
I, David Robert Henry, Chief Electoral Officer, declare
N ndor Steven T nczos
to be elected a member of Parliament.
