Notice of Application to Vary Terms of a Charitable Trust

In the High Court of New Zealand, Christchurch Registry
In the matter of the Charitable Trusts Act 1957, and in the matter of an application by the Selwyn House School Trust Board-Applicant:
Take notice that the trustees of the Selwyn House School Trust Board will apply to the High Court at Christchurch on the 2nd day of March 2005 at 9.30 a.m., for an order varying the terms of the Selwyn House School Trust Board deed dated the 12th day of July 1965.
The purpose of this application is to rewrite the Selwyn House School Trust Board deed in modern and simple language and to give the trustees administrative powers that will enable them to more effectively carry out the Trust's purposes.
Further particulars of the application may be obtained from the office of the applicant's solicitors, Lane Neave, Lawyers.
Any person desiring to oppose the scheme is required to give notice in writing of his/her intention to do so to:
(a) the Registrar of the High Court at Christchurch;
(b) the applicant, care of Lane Neave, Lawyers,
P.O. Box 13-149, Christchurch (Attention: Simon Clay); and
(c) the Attorney-General, care of Crown Law Office, P.O. Box 5012, Wellington (Attention: Margaret Soper)
not less than seven clear days before the matter is due to be heard.
