Notice of Order for Suspension From Practice as a Barrister and Solicitor

In the matter of the Law Practitioners Act 1982
Pursuant to section 119 of the Law Practitioners Act 1982, notice is hereby given that on 17 June 2004, the New Zealand Law Practitioners Disciplinary Tribunal ordered as follows:
THAT
1. The name of Mark Simon Hornabrook be suspended from practice as a barrister for a period of four months from 2 July 2004.
2. Pursuant to sections 66 and 67 of the Law Practitioners Act 1982, the tribunal gives its sanction to the practitioner being permitted to act as a clerk in and about the business of Hornabrook Macdonald Lawyers for a period of one calendar month from 2 July 2004.
3. The practitioner pay the sum of $2,880.75 to the
New Zealand Law Society towards the costs and expenses of and incidental to the inquiry by the tribunal.
4. That the practitioner pay costs of the Auckland District Law Society in the agreed sum of $2,875.00
