Notice of Application to Vary a Registered Trade Name Product (Notice No. 1335)

Pursuant to section 14 (1) of the Agricultural Compounds and Veterinary Medicines Act 1997, the Director-General of the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry hereby gives notice that the following application has been made to vary the conditions of a registered trade name product under section 9 (2) of the Agricultural Compounds and Veterinary Medicines (ACVM) Act 1997:
Trade Name: Permigas
Reference: P3306
Active Ingredients and Concentrations:
Permethrin 4.0g/kg and Natural Pyrethrins 1.0g/kg and Piperonyl butoxide 5.0g/kg
Proposed Variation to Conditions:
An all purpose insecticide which has residual effect for up to 21 days after it is sprayed. Will effectively kill most flying, crawling and glass house insects.
Any person may make a written submission to the
Director-General under section 17 of the ACVM Act 1997 concerning the application notified above.
Such submissions:
(a) must state in full the reasons for making the submission;
(b) may state any decision sought on that application;
(c) must be received by the Director-General no later than 30 working days after the date of notification in this New Zealand Gazette; and
(d) should be forwarded to the address given below.
A copy of every submission will be forwarded to the applicant for their information.
A copy of the public information on the application may be obtained from ACVM Group, New Zealand Food Safety Authority, P.O. Box 2835, Wellington.
