Special Transfer Allowance Amendment 2004

Pursuant to section 124 (1) (d) of the Social Security Act 1964, the Minister for Social Development and Employment establishes and approves the following amendment to the Special Transfer Allowance Programme 2000 (as established and approved on 13 November 2000).

A m e n d m e n t
1. Title-(1) This amendment is the Special Transfer Allowance Amendment 2004.
(2) In this amendment, the Special Transfer Allowance Programme 2000 is called "the programme".
2. Commencement-This amendment comes into effect on 1 April 2004.
3. Increasing average regional rentals-The Schedule
of the programme is amended by omitting the expressions "154", "128", "91", "201", "158" and "132" and substituting respectively the expressions "179", "136", "102", "229", "167" and "148".

Explanatory Note
This note is not part of the amendment, but is intended to indicate its general effect.
This amendment, which comes into effect on 1 April 2004, increases the average regional rentals set out in the Schedule of the Special Transfer Allowance Programme 2000 to reflect movements in rentals.
