Pursuant to section 9 of the Law Commission Act 1985,
Her Excellency the Governor-General has been pleased to appoint
Edward Taihakurei Junior Durie, High Court Judge of Wellington
to be a Commissioner of the Law Commission for a term
of three years on and from 1 July 2004.
