1. Following advice from the Electricity Commission, pursuant to section 172E (3) (b) of the Electricity Act 1992,
I notify that the Electricity Governance Amendment Rules (No. 1) 2004 ("the amendment rules"), which were made under urgency in accordance with section 172 (3) of the
Act on 29 January 2004, will not be revoked, replaced or amended.
2. The reason why the amendment rules will not be revoked, replaced or amended is that no submissions received on the amendment rules identified any concerns that need to be addressed through the amendment rules being revoked, replaced or amended.
3. Copies of the rules may be inspected free of charge
or purchased from the Electricity Governance Board
(also known as the Electricity Commission), Level Seven, ASB Tower, 2 Hunter Street, Wellington.
