Pursuant to section 4 (4) of the Forest and Rural Fires Act 1977, the National Rural Fire Authority hereby makes the following notice.
Notice
1. Title and commencement-(1) This notice may be cited as the Marlborough North Rural Fire District Notice 1992 Amendment No. 1.
(2) This notice comes into force 28 days after publication in the New Zealand Gazette.
2. Amendment of Rural Fire District Notice-The principal notice* is hereby amended by:
(a) Amending clause 3 (3) (a) under the Constitution of the Rural Fire District by replacing the reference
to "Tasman Forestry Limited" with "Weyerhauser New Zealand Incorporated".
(b) deleting the Schedule and inserting a new Schedule as follows:
"Marlborough Land District
(1) All that area of the Marlborough District bounded by the western boundary of the Marlborough District commencing at its junction with the sea at Onanga Bay and ending at Trig N, thence in a south-westerly direction along the Marlborough-Nelson Land District boundary to the Wairau River, thence in a north-easterly direction along the left bank of the Wairau River to its junction with the sea coast at the Thomas Road overflow and including all islands adjoining this section of the sea."
