Pursuant to section 338 (1) of Te Ture Whenua Maori Act 1993, on the recommendation of the Maori Land Court, the general land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby
set apart as a Maori reservation for the purpose of a place
of cultural, historical and scenic interest for the owners of Rotomahana Parekarangi 6G2B Block and their descendants, and the Tuhourangi people generally.
