Scenic Reserve
Under the Conservation Act 1987, the Community Relations Manager for the Bay of Plenty Conservancy of the Department of Conservation declares that the land described in the Schedule is held for conservation purposes, and further declares that the conservation area be set apart as a reserve subject to the Reserves Act 1977, and classified as
a scenic reserve for the purposes specified in section 19 (1) (a) of the latter Act, and further declares the said reserve
form part of the Waiotapu Scenic Reserve (New Zealand Gazette, 5 March 1981, page 501, and New Zealand Gazette, 20 February 1986, page 777).
