Revocation of a Notice Declaring That Land is a Reserve and Issue of a Fresh Notice

Under section 6 (3) of the Reserves Act 1977 and by reason of an error made in the notice described subsequently,
the Community Relations Manager for the Southland Conservancy of the Department of Consevation revokes
the notice declaring that land is a reserve, dated 23 July 2002 and published in the New Zealand Gazette, 1 August 2002, No. 90, page 2447, and issues the following notice
as a fresh notice in its place.
Declaration that Land is a Reserve
Under the Reserves Act 1977, the Acting Community Relations Manager, Southland Conservancy, Department of Conservation, notifies that the following resolution was passed by the Invercargill City Council on 11 December 2001:
"In exercise of the powers conferred on it by section
14 of the Reserves Act 1977, the Invercargill City Council resolves that land held by the council in fee simple and described in the First Schedule, be declared to be recreation reserve, pursuant to section 17 of
the Reserves Act 1977, and in the Second Schedule,
be declared to be scenic reserve, pursuant to section 19 (1) (a) of the Reserves Act 1977 and in the Third Schedule, be declared to be local purpose reserve (camp ground), pursuant to section 23 of the Reserves Act 1977."
