The Board of the Tertiary Education Commission
Te Amorangi Matauranga Matua approved, pursuant to section 8 of the Industry Training Act 1992, provisional recognition for the Funeral Services Training Trust of
New Zealand to set standards at Levels 1 to 8 on the National Qualifications Framework for the funeral industry (defined as funeral directing and embalming) for a period of up to nine months with effect from 19 October 2003.
