Ki Nga Reo o Ngapuhi
Pursuant to section 78M of the Education Act 1989, I direct the Secretary for Education to appoint a limited statutory manager for Te Kura Kaupapa Maori Pumau Ki Nga Reo o Ngapuhi because of risks to the operation of the school.
The following functions, powers and duties of the board are vested in the limited statutory manager:
? Full responsibility for the day-to-day financial matters of the kura;
? completion of a full financial systems review; and
? establishment of financial processes.
The limited statutory manager must also advise the board on the following:
? Guide the board in high quality planning and decision making; and
? training of the board and staff in financial processes.
This notice takes effect the day after the date of publication of this notice.
