The Board of Skill New Zealand - Pukenga Aotearoa, pursuant to section 5 of the Industry Training Act 1992 and having consulted with the New Zealand Qualifications Authority, afforded recognition to the Master Plumbers, Gasfitters and Drainlayers Industry Training Organisation Incorporated to set standards at Levels 1 to 8 on the National Qualifications Framework for the plumbing, gasfitting
and drainlaying, concrete roof tiling, metal roofing and cladding manufacturing industries for a further period of five years with effect from 20 October 2002.
