The Traffic (Matamata Piako District) Notice 2003

Pursuant to section 52 of the Transport Act 1962
and Regulation 21 (2) of the Traffic Regulations 1976, and pursuant to an authority sub-delegated to me by the Land Transport Safety Authority of New Zealand dated 9 June 1997, I, Peter Graeme Croft, Manager, Safer Roads, give
the following notice.
N o t i c e
1. This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Matamata Piako District) Notice 2003.
2. Those localities and roads shown within markings identified in the legend of and appearing on the plan numbered LT0313/1, entitled "Matamata Piako District Council Speed Restrictions at TeAroha", and held by the head office of the Land Transport Safety Authority, are declared to be:
(a) closely populated localities at all times, pursuant to section 52 (1) of the Transport Act 1962; or
(b) 70 kilometres an hour speed limit areas pursuant to Regulation 21 (2) of the Traffic Regulations 1976;
as may be ascertained from the legend. The plan and legend are hereby incorporated into this notice.
3. The following notice is partly revoked:
Only that part of the Traffic (Matamata Piako District) Notice No 1, 1995* which is shown on plan TT9403/2 entitled "Matamata Piako District at Te Aroha" is revoked.
