Pursuant to section 49 of the Privacy Act 1993, I give notice as follows:
1. The Telecommunications Information Privacy Code 2003:
(a) was issued on 2 May 2003; and
(b) will come into force on 1 November 2003 (except for clauses 3 (e) and (f) of Schedule 2 which will come into force on 1 April 2005).
2. Copies of the code may be inspected free of charge at the offices of the Privacy Commissioner, 51-53 Shortland Street, Auckland, and 109-111 Featherston Street, Wellington.
3. Copies of the code are available for purchase from
the offices of the Privacy Commissioner and may
be inspected or downloaded free of charge from the
web site:
www.privacy.org.nz
