Notice of Appointment of Liquidator
Pursuant to Section 255 (2) of the Companies Act 1993
In the matter of section 241 (2) and section 243 (8)
and (9) of the Companies Act 1993, and in the matter
of S O Baldrick Limited (in liquidation):
Notice is hereby given that on the 26th day of November 2003 at 2.00 p.m., I, Graham Lewis St John Pedler, was appointed liquidator of the above-named company pursuant to a special resolution entered into the company's minute book.
Notice is given, pursuant to section 243 (8) and (9) of the Act, that:
(a) The liquidator does not consider that a meeting of creditors should be held;
(b) Having regard to the assets and liabilities of
the company, the likely result of the liquidation
and other relevant matters, the liquidator considers
a meeting of creditors should not be held; and
(c) No meeting of creditors will be called unless a creditor gives notice in writing to the liquidator within 10 working days after receiving this notice requiring a meeting to be called.
The liquidator is satisfied that the value of assets of
the company available for distribution to unsecured and unpreferred creditors is not likely to exceed 20 cents in each dollar owed to such creditors and accordingly, by virtue of section 255 (5) of the Act, the liquidator is not required
to provide a report containing a statement of the company's affairs.
