Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Tauranga District Council notifies that the council passed the following resolutions on 4 March 2002:
(a) "In the exercise of the powers conferred on it by section 15 of the Reserves Act 1977, the Tauranga District Council resolves to exchange the land held by the Council as recreation reserve and described
in the First Schedule hereto, for the land described in the Second Schedule hereto."; and
(b) "In the exercise of the powers conferred on it by section 16 (2A) of the Reserves Act 1977, the Tauranga District Council approved the classification of the land described in the Second Schedule hereto, as Local Purpose Reserve (Accessway)."

Land to be Exchanged
83 square metres, more or less, being Lot 39, D.P. S. 7334, and being the land contained in certificate of title 878/186 and described as "Section 1" on S.O. Plan 310284.
Second Schedule
Land to be Exchanged and Classified as Local Purpose Reserve (Accessway)
83 square metres, more or less, being part Lot 35, D.P. S. 7334, and being the land contained in part certificate of title 1A/1398 and described as "Section 3" on S.O. Plan 310284.
