Under section 13 of the Interpretation Act 1999 and section 8 (1) (a) of the Forests (West Coast Accord) Act 2000, the Minister of Finance and the Minister for State Owned Enterprises hereby amend an error in the notice dated
28 February 2002, published in New Zealand Gazette,
7 March 2002, No. 20, page 603, declaring land held for conservation purposes as ecological areas and to be part of existing ecological areas, by omitting the area 747.5473 hectares from the description of the area to be part of the Card Creek Ecological Area in the Schedule to the notice and replacing it with the area 685.6473 hectares.
